| Scholarship Details Final Submission Date - April 1st, 2008 The Georgia Chapter recognizes the cost of education and plans to match a minimum of two $500 AEE National scholarships if awarded. If the Georgia Chapter nominees do not garner any $500 scholarships, the Georgia Chapter intends to award a $1,000 chapter-funded scholarship to a deserving applicant. In recent years we have not had a very active scholarship program and therefore request your assistance in locating students pursuing study related to energy engineering or management. The application process is relatively simple and the chance of earning a scholarship is good. In 2003 we awarded a $1,000 Chapter Scholarship to our only applicant. In 2004 we had two applicants. One received a $500 National Scholarship that was matched with $500 from the Chapter. The second applicant was awarded a $500 Chapter Scholarship.
